Purpose:

To provide the basic KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ATTITUDE necessary to learn pistol marksmanship using a virtual training system.

More Details:

This 3-hour course teaches basic marksmanship fundamentals, firearm safety using a simulated recoil enabled pistol and laser to indicate where the shots hit. The entire course is taught in the classroom using a virtual range. The NRA Pistol Marksmanship Simulator Training Course teaches the fundamentals of sight alignment, trigger control, grip, and breath control. At the completion of the course, an NRA participation certificate is awarded. This Course is perfect for students who already have pistol license but are struggling with their marksmanship skills, wish to take the Concealed Carry Course, failed the Concealed Carry Course, or simply wish to improve their marksmanship skills. Students may attend this course as a basis to decide whether or not they would like to follow-up by taking the full-length Basic Pistol Course with live fire, a pistol license is not required for this course.
